National Register Sites
The National Register of Historic Places was established by an act of Congress in 1966.
In Pompano Beach, the sole property listed in the National Register is the 1916 Sample-McDougald House. Other nearby National Register sites are the 1907 Hillsboro Lighthouse (Hillsboro Beach) and Cap’s Place Island Restaurant (1928, Lighthouse Point).
